PEMU is a plastic processing company located in Solymár, Hungary, founded about 60 years ago. During its long history PEMU applied almost every possible technology of plastic processing. Nowadays, injection molding, polyurethane foaming, special plastic processing and extrusion are its main profile, but PEMU also produces tools and has its own maintenance plant. 

Besides the production and development of thermoplastic elastomers, the production and product development of filled and reinforced and light weighted polyolefin blends has also shown to be quite relevant. Examples include: talc, barite, halogen-free flame retardants and polyolefin systems reinforced by natural fiber, and developing of biodegradable composites. PEMU has decades of experience in the field of polyurethane foaming, as well as production of hard and soft foam systems for a wide range of uses. 

The main role of PEMU is the industrial validation of the robot techniques for handling of soft viscoelastic polyurethane pillows that are being newly developed in APRIL. PEMU will perform semi-industrial and industrial functionality and cost efficiency tests in comparison with the current commercial production steps.
