Workshop on standards in robotics and AI on July 12th , 9:00-12:00 CEST.
APRIL partner Kontor46 is organising an online workshop on standards in robotics and AI together with the Big Data Value Association (BDVA), the European Laboratory for Learning and Intelligent Systems (ELLIS), and the H2020 project Robotics4EU on July 12th , 9:00-12:00 CEST.
Scope of the workshop
An officer from the European Commission will share information about the consultation and feedback process regarding the EU proposal for the regulation of artificial intelligence (AI) and the revised Machinery Directive.
The workshop also aims at creating a working group on standards for AI and other issues across the organisations that take part in the AI, Data and Robotics Partnership.
It will further coordinate the input for comment and feedback on draft standards and other documents of the ISO Technical Committee on Artificial Intelligence.
Lastly, there will be several presentations about activities regarding standards in three areas of interest: Big Data, AI, Robotics.
How to participate
Interested parties can participate by subscribing to the euRobotics Topical Group on Standards (https://www.eu-robotics.net/). After approval of the (free) subscription, they can be invited to participate in the workshop.
