Humans collaborating with robots as a natural act. Marco Controzzi participates as Speaker at the International Workshop to be held in Iros 2020
International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS) provides an international forum for the international robotics research community to explore the frontier of science and technology in intelligent robots and smart machines.
Humans collaborating with robots as a natural act. This new interaction takes place mainly in the context of the new wave of industrialization, the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0). In fact, robots are envisioned to share their working space and actively cooperate with humanworkers taking into account their needs.
Marco Controzzi, Assistant Professor at Istituto di BioRobotica, Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna and Principal Investigator of Human-Robot Interaction Lab, will talk about this topic in the workshop “Robots building Robots. Digital Manufacturing and Human-Centered Automation for Building Consumer Robots” to be held in Iros2020. Controzzi will review the recent studies concerning the grasp choice in humans and their implication on the performance and perception of the human-robot collaboration.
